I used to have a blender to make protein shake but its trash now. Is it ok to use food processor to make smoothie?

yes … you can do it on pulse, but it’s going to be hard to pour it into a glass from the processor bowl. I have a very good Cuisinart processor, and just bought a cheap Hamilton Beach () blender to do stuff like smoothies

Sorry to hear about your blender. I make smoothies in my blender and have never had a problem with it. (That’s the only thing I make in my blender though.)
You can use your food processor, but its probably overkill. I’m not sure if I’d toss ice in there, though – but that’s just me. If you use frozen fruit in lieu of ice, you should be fine.

You could, but be careful because most food processors have a open column in the middle, which could allow some of the liquid to spill out. But if you are careful, it would work in a pinch
I wouldn’t use big chunks of ice in the FP… crush it up first, or use frozen fruit. Just spoon it into a glass.
