Question by : Why are Americans so stuck with the idea of finding that perfect job?
Everybody is looking for that golden job. The one that is supposed to intrigue you with challenges, give you a great title and feed your family without you worrying about the future uncertainty.

The answer is simple, there is no perfect JOB. You just grind our ass off in the great rat race so you can save up enough to retire. Do you realize that retiring just means you are too old to contribute to the work force. You still are responsible for providing for your self after you “Retire”. The meaning of retirement for most poor people is to sit around and wither slowly as they live off crappy food, because thats all they can afford with social security.

So many young people are wasting their life and money away by going to expensive colleges to find that perfect job when they get out. So many graduates are complaining that there are no jobs. They are just asking for a corporate meat grinder to feed their youth to.

Everybody is whining about the lack of jobs but few people actually create their own job.

Everybody is depressed these days now because of the economy being so low. Maybe because some people want relief from everyday stress starting with the source of most of the stress: work. That’s my educated guess.
